A finales de octubre de 2004 tuve que dejar inesperadamente la que había sido mi casa. Ante una situación como esa, lo más fácil hubiera sido encontrar un departamento en el Aviso oportuno y cambiarme cuanto antes, pero yo necesitaba algo más que un espacio para vivir. Esta bitácora es el registro obsesivo de esa búsqueda, el intento por reinventar mi rutina cotidiana a través de fotografías, correos electrónicos y mapas con los que esperaba entrever las coordenadas de un lugar posible.
In late October 2004, I unexpectedly had to leave what had been my house. Facing a situation like this, the easiest thing would have been to find an apartment in the classifieds and move as soon as possible —but I needed more than just a space to live in. This logbook is the obsessive record of that search, the attempt to reinvent my daily routine through photographs, emails and maps with which I hoped to make out the coordinates of a possible place.
